As we get ready to cross the border to Mexico we can’t help feeling a little emotional. It is time to say goodbye US.
This past five months we had a taste of what expect on life on the road. We have been in all type of weather, vehicle break downs, some scary situations, a mayor loss ( someone stole Bailey), but, as time pass we are more confident that this is definitely what we want.
We have received help from so may people we can’t let pass another day without giving thanks to those who have been there for us on way or another.
So here we go… OUR BIG THANK YOU TO:
Oscar and Maria Bueno and kids for get all the crap we have left and sell it for us, otherwise our plan to live on June wouldn’t be possible, and also for being wonderful friends , checking on us regularly, you guys have been a great support to our family, just like Miguel, Elisa and Manzanita. We really appreciate your friendship and you’ve done so much for us, we are out of words to express our gratitud.
Angel and Victoria Bergara for delivering all the crap.
Fernando Margalef and Daniel Santos for helping Marcelo fix and put together the “Polola”.
Patrick Moore and friends for being wonderful host while we were in Montevideo, Mn, and for lending your car to a two completely strangers, it takes a special kind of person to do that.
Marcelo Oliveira for visiting us in Washington and fill our car with food and drinks. Our (car) doors are open if you ever want to pay us a visit.
Gwenn, Henry and the rest of the family for a great few months at Cascade Kamloops, and of course, Miss Val, the person responsable for the greatest present ever our cute dog Jose.
Shadow, it was a really pleasure to meet you and thank you so much for the ride on your sailing boat, we were delighted, specially Bruno who wanted to spend the night at the boat.
We are very grateful for all of those who take the time to call us and check on us, Miguel, Silvana, Enrique, Alejandra….
And to all the people we meet everyday on the many places we stop, for the encouraging words.
